Stay safe from fake job offers

Fake crewing jobs are common. Oceanvex checks every recruiter before their jobs go live, but please always be careful.

Warning signs

• You are asked to pay for an application, processing, training, visa, medical or "placement" fee.
• The salary is much higher than normal for the rank.
• You get a contract without any interview.
• The recruiter only uses a free email address or will not give a company address.
• You are asked to send your passport scan before any interview.

What we promise
